About the Journal

Journal of Science and Engineering (JSE) aims to become an international forum for the research and development community to publish articles of highest quality in all disciplines of science and engineering. Papers relating directly or indirectly to all aspect of these fields are also welcome to submit. JSE is intended to provide a forum for the expression of new ideas, as well as a place for exposition of these areas of knowledge that can further understanding of science and engineering issues and concerns. JSE at ifspress is interested in publishing articles derived from any Science and Engineering field-based exposures along with conceptually robust theory rooted in the multidisciplinary. It is becoming a new venue for academic research of artificial intelligence field through supporting the growing needs of artificial intelligence community.

JSE aims to employ rapid submission and reviewing process for efficient deep interactions among authors, reviewers, and editors. All published JSE papers are available online.

Journal of Science and Engineering will be indexed by CNKI in Jan 2026.

Scope

JSE seeks constructive original papers in all areas of artificial intelligence including but not limited to:

  • Novel theoretical algorithms together with empirical validation;

  • Insights into the principle of intelligence which guide the design of novel intelligence systems;

  • Analyses of the advantages and disadvantages of existing artificial intelligence to induce better successors;

  • New artificial intelligence tracks with theoretical and practical values;

  • New metrics for evaluating the performance of intelligence systems.

Article types

Contributions falling into the following categories will be considered for publication:

Original high-quality research and review papers (preferably no more than 20 double line spaced manuscript pages, including tables and figures).
